We are a small and
experienced team.

CB Fonder is a family and partner-owned securities company founded in 1994 and supervised by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen). We offer both private and institutional investors our management through the european fund CB European Quality Fund and the global environmental fund CB Save Earth Fund.

All investments are guided by an ethical and sustainable framework, and our management concept is based on truly active management (independent of index). Our aim is to generate a high and competitive risk-adjusted return with lower risk and lower drawdown compared to the benchmark index. We have worked with an ethical framework for over 25 years and with environmental investments for over 15 years.

Our portfolio management team consists of Carl Bernadotte, Marcus Grimfors and Alexander Jansson, who have a combined experience of over 60 years and have worked together for over 15 years. The funds are managed jointly by the three managers, and all three managers must agree on each investment decision. Our guiding principles in the portfolio management are active, ethical and long-term.

Strengths in smaller teams

It is easier to establish robust relationships with deep trust in small teams.
Group affiliation, individual responsibility and the sense of collective ownership of portfolios are strengthened in smaller teams.
Good investment decisions are based on cooperation to identify which data is important. A small team with few communication paths facilitates collaboration
and enhances the decision-making process.

Supervision and outsourced operations

The fund company for the CB European Quality Fund is Luxcellence Management Company S.A. Luxembourg, and the depositary is CACEIS Bank Luxembourg. The fund company for the CB Save Earth Fund is FundRock Management Company S.A., and the depositary is SEB S.A. CB Fonder is responsible for the daily management of the funds, while the fund companies and fund administrators are responsible for all deposits/withdrawals in the funds, daily valuation, customer registers, etc. Thus, the counterparty risk against CB Fonder consists of management risk.
