This morning, our portfolio manager, CEO and partner Alexander Jansson joined Dagens Industri’s Börsmorgon to discuss value versus growth. He shared his views on what is once again favoring growth companies and also highlighted two cases: the UK-based serial acquirer Diploma, and Belimo, an interesting AI case on the stock market. Belimo offers solutions that use AI to optimize cooling and energy efficiency in data centers.
As always when Alexander appears on Börsmorgon, Europe was also on the agenda. He commented on the situation in France with higher taxes, as well as in Germany, where Chancellor – and former BlackRock executive – Friedrich Merz stated earlier this week that the country can no longer afford to finance the current welfare system.
Today’s Börsmorgon also featured Flat Capital’s Chairman of the Board, Sebastian Siemiatkowski. He spoke about their latest investment of just over half a billion SEK in Defensor, a newly founded Swedish industrial group aiming to become a leading player in the Nordic defense and security industry. Flat Capital will become the majority owner with a stake of around 62.5 percent, and Siemiatkowski emphasized that this is their first investment where they will take on an active ownership role.
