Affärsvärlden/Placera recently interviewed Alexander Jansson, CEO and fund manager at CB Fonder, where he shared insights about the CB Save Earth Fund and its current primary focus on water management—one of the key areas of the environmental fund today with significant potential.

In the interview, Alexander also explains why the fund has opted out of Swedish engineering consultants, why growth traps are more dangerous than value traps, and the rationale behind the decision to reduce the fund’s exposure to renewable energy to zero since the first quarter by selling Nibe, a company that has been part of CB Save Earth Fund since its inception.

The discussion also touches on how the fund has been affected by not owning any of the Magnificent 7 companies, which have dominated the global index and accounted for approximately 95% of last year’s returns in the world index.
