National Grid – powering the UK and the US.
⭐ Extensive infrastructure: National Grid operates thousands of miles of electricity networks and gas pipelines in the UK and the northeastern United States, forming critical energy infrastructure.
⭐ Invisible: Despite being one of the world’s largest investor-owned electricity and gas utilities, the company is often perceived as an “invisible” part of the energy system by end consumers.
⭐ Wind power: A key responsibility is upgrading the grid to support the green transition by expanding capacity to connect and manage electricity generated from wind farms.
🌱 National Grid works in line with the UN Global Sustainable Development Goals, has SBTi-verified CO₂ reduction targets, and generates EU Taxonomy-aligned revenues.
