Today we present the Swiss company Nestlé, a holding in the CB European Quality Fund, and the American company Mueller Water Products, a holding in the CB Save Earth Fund.

Nestlé – the world’s largest food and beverage company.
⭐ The Name: Founder Henri Nestlé chose his family coat of arms—a nest with birds—as the company logo (the German word for “nest” is Nest). The symbol represents care and security.
⭐ A Giant: Nestlé owns more than 2,000 global and local brands, including KitKat, Nescafé, and Sweden’s own Zoégas.
⭐ Nescafé: Instant coffee was launched in 1938 after seven years of research, following a request from the Brazilian government to help solve its coffee surplus.
🌱 Nestlé works toward the global sustainability goals and has set SBTi-verified CO₂-reduction targets.

Mueller Water Products – North America’s largest manufacturer of fire hydrants and valves.
⭐ Smart Water: The company invests in advanced technologies such as acoustic leak detection (Echologics) and smart metering systems (Mueller Systems).
⭐ Municipalities: Municipalities are key customers. Mueller’s solutions help them reduce water loss and manage aging infrastructure.
⭐ Sound: The subsidiary Echologics uses non-invasive acoustic technology (sound) to detect and locate underground pipe leaks without the need for excavation.
